2022-09-14 Update: Ethereum Merge will happen on 2022-09-15 02:00 UTC on estimate. Deposits and withdrawals for the Ethereum network (ERC-20) will be suspended an hour ahead at 2022-09-15 at 01:00 UTC. This is an estimated time and subject to change. Please stay tuned for updates.

To prevent risks from price volatility and ensure the safety of your assets, ETH and ERC-20 token deposits and withdrawals will be suspended at approximately:
- 2022-09-06 11:00 UTC: Bellatrix consensus layer upgrade
- 2022-09-15 00:00 UTC: Paris execution layer upgrade
Please allow enough time for your ETH and ERC-20 tokens deposits and withdrawals to be fully processed before the dates mentioned above.
▶ What will happen after The Merge?
If no new token is created after The Merge:
- Deposits and withdrawals for ETH and ERC-20 will resume on ProBit Global as soon as possible. An official announcement will be released.
If the chain splits into 2 parallel blockchains and a new token is created
- “ETH” ticker will be used for the Ethereum PoS chain
- You will receive the forked token from the minority chain to your ProBit Global wallets at a ratio of 1:1 based on the snapshot of ETH balances before the Paris execution layer upgrade (approximately at ETH mainnet block height of 15,540,293, or 2022-09-15 02:00 UTC). An official announcement will be released regarding distribution.
- Withdrawals for the forked token will be supported.
- There is no guarantee of listing of the newly forked tokens. ProBit Global will continue to do our utmost in conducting thorough checks as we do for every listing.
